  • How long do the results last?

  • How does KYBELLA® work?

    Deoxycholic acid, the active ingredient in KYBELLA® is a naturally-occurring molecule in the body that assists in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. *When injected properly into the treatment area, the fat cells are targeted, preventing them from storing or accumulating fat any longer.

 

  • How long is the recovery process?

    *KYBELLA® provides quick results with no downtime. Immediately after the treatment, you may experience edema/swelling, hematoma/bruising, pain and numbness. *Most side effects will diminish in 7 days or less.

 

  • How long does a treatment take?

    The length of treatment depends on the submental fat distribution and the patient’s individual aesthetic goals. *A typical treatment takes 15 – 20 minutes, but follow up appointments may be necessary.

 

  • Are there any risks?

    As with any injection procedure, there is a small risk of infection. We take great care to ensure that this risk is minimized.

 

  • Is it painful?
