How does the Nordlys hair removal work?
For long-lasting hair removal, the hair follicle from which individual hairs grow must be eliminated. In a technique known as “Selective Photothermolysis”, controlled pulses of light penetrate the outer layer of the skin, or epidermis and the light is absorbed by melanin in the hair contained in the follicle. Melanin then converts the light energy into heat. Once the heat is transferred to the hair follicle, it is injured, making it unable to produce new hair.
