The procedure will not reduce the size of your nose, but patients will experience symmetry that smoothes contour abnormalities. Patients will receive an injection to augment or raise a flat bridge, reduce depressions or dents, and reduce the appearance of a hump on the bridge. After speaking with Dr. Levine and determining the next steps for the non-surgical procedure at her office, patients will receive injections of FDA approved fillers. The process of liquid injection lasts as long as a half-hour. The superficial injections will not clog or change the nasal cavity, and patients will not experience breathing issues related to the procedure
The procedure is not typically painful, though tolerances vary from patient to patient. There is essentially no recovery period, and Dr. Levine will use her methods of pain control to minimize discomfort for tender areas of the tip and nostrils. Dr. Levine will require a follow-up examination one week after the procedure.
